Show Notes

Join Father Agustino Torres, CFR, and co-host Solanyi Rodriguez with the very special guest, Father Robert J. Spitzer, S.J., Ph.D., philosopher, educator, author, speaker, host of the EWTN show “Father Spitzer’s Universe,” and president of both the Magis Center of Reason and Faith and the Spitzer Center. In this episode we discover how the beauty and truth of science lives in harmony with Catholic belief, and how arguments of science and reason support the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist – body, blood, soul and divinity. Father Spitzer will detail what we mean by “Eucharistic miracles,” drawing upon examples reported throughout history and explaining how they were scientifically investigated – including the Eucharistic miracles of Lanciano, Italy, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Tixtla, Mexico, and Sokolka, Poland. We explore if there is actual human heart tissue found in the Eucharist Host, hear the story of atheist Dr. Castañón Gomez who investigated the Buenos Aires and Tixtla miracles, and much more!
