Revive: The National Eucharistic Revival Podcast

Back Into Communion with Sister Miriam James Heidland

OSV Podcasts

"I think that [God] wants a National Eucharistic Congress to bring us home to himself, to renew the bride…to live again."  - Sister Miriam James Heidland, SOLT

In this episode, Tim and Sister Miriam James Heidland discuss Sister Miriam’s March Madness tweeting, healing our identity wounds, and how Christian discipleship is the process of being brought back into communion with God. A woman with a profound heart for priests, Sister Miriam also shares how all of us can love our priests better. If the priesthood is not well, as she says, then it’s very difficult for the Church to be well.

Sister Miriam is one of the three emcees for the 10th National Eucharistic Congress. One of her biggest hopes for the Eucharistic Revival is for each of us to encounter Jesus in the place where we need him most. We all have places in our hearts where we need the healing touch of Christ, and Sister Miriam does such a beautiful job of sharing how we shouldn’t be ashamed of that.
